I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of HEXBUG. I received these promotional items to facilitate our HEXBUG Nano V2 Ultimate Build Party. All opinions are my own.
I recently was approached by HEXBUG asking if I wanted to throw a party. Um, yes!! My kids have been using HEXBUGS for years and they are a huge hit in our home. We love watch the bugs squirm and walk around but the HEXBUG Nano V2 takes it to the next level of coolness. I'm sure you have seen the commericial. My kids have been yelling for months, "I WANT THAT!" each time this commercial comes on! #theycanclimb
As part of this party, I received a HEXBUG Nano V2 Ultimate Build Party Pack and was asked to invite 6-8 friends to attend. I received the following items for enjoyment at the party:
·30 Nano V2 single packs
· 1 Barrel Roll set
· 1 Sky Max set
· 1 Hurricane set
· 1 Black Hole set
· A variety of themed games, activities, and recipes
As you can imagine, it was not difficult getting kids to attend our party. We invited my kids best friends and they all counted down the days until they could finally try out the new HEXBUG Nano V2 sets. When the day finally came, I think my youngest son danced around the house all day long, filled with so much energy, because he was just "SO EXCITED FOR THE PARTY!"
My husband was so kind to have all the sets set up and ready for when the party started. We wanted the kids to come in and enjoy the immediate "wow factor" of seeing these amazing sets in front of them and ready to be played with. We had 10 kids total at this party and they were so excited for the fun.
Upon arriving at the party, we let them each chose two of their favorite color of HEXBUG Nano that the could use to play with at the party and also have the opportunity to take home with them. They were very excited that they would be able to keep them. They have lots of fun color choices that everyone was able to find their favorite color. We also had a drawing at the end where four kids were able to take home their very own HEXBUG Nano V2 sets. They all mentioned that they now wanted HEXBUG Nano V2 sets for Christmas!
Kids were so eager to play so we gave them some time to try out each of the different sets before playing games. They had so much fun, the energy was high and they ran around taking turns from set to set. The favorite sets were the Nano v2 Black Hole and the Nano V2 Barrel Roll. They would squeal each time a HEXBUG free-falled out of the tubes and were amazed that they really could climb! It was really fun to watch them. They got so excited to watch them go through the tunnels and eager to see which way/path the HEXBUG would chose.
Here is a fun tip about the HEXBUG Nano V2 bugs. The packaging that the come in is an extra connecting tube, so make sure and don't throw those out. You can use those to build bigger sets or make towers and watch your HEXBUG climb! These sets are truly really amazing. If you look at the very top of the tower, you can see the top of the blue HEXBUG that just finished making that complete climb!
After spending time with HEXBUG free play, we decided to play a few games. The kids all had their favorite colors of HEXBUGS so we separated the kids into groups and played Race to The Top. In this game, you use the Straight Nano V2 Tubes and 1 HEXBUG Nano V2 per racer and each group works together to create a tower. The kids loved this game as they took turns racing their favorite HEXBUG Nano V2 to the top! Each of the kids that attended had a blast. Even the adults were impressed and joined in on the fun watching the HEXBUGS climb.
Naturally, you have to end a bug party enjoy some bugs. The kids loved the Worms and "Dirt" Dessert that was provided to us in our party kit. It was a really fun way to end the party.
