Holiday Gift Guide Sofia the First Review and Giveaway!

I have two daughters, so we are very familiar with everything Princess.  They love all the disney princess and were so excited when they found out that there was going to be a new Princess show. Sofia the First is a Disney Junior show currently ranked as TV's #1 series in kids ages 2-5, girls ages 2-5 and #1 preschool TV series in total viewers.  Having a daughter in that age range, we have watched a lot of Sofia the First.  It is one of my daughters favorite shows and she often brings me the remote, requesting, "Sofia, please."

I received two items for review that I am really excited about.  I think this show is phenomenal for younger ages and the toys are so much fun.  I find this show to be entertaining and educational for the younger ages.  Lets me honest, often shows for that age group can be quite annoying, so its nice to see one that I enjoy sitting down and watching with her.  The toys are equally as adorable as the show.  I received the magical talking castle and a talking Sofia doll for review.  All opinions are my own.

Disney Sofia the First Talking Sofia and Animal Friends
The Disney Sofia the First Talking Sofia and Animal Friends doll is adorable.  If you have a daughter in the  2-5 age range, this would be a fabulous gift for the holidays.  Not only is this doll adorable, but she is also interactive.  With the press up a button Sofia repeats multiple character-specific phrases to your daughter.  My daughter loved this and would giggle each time Sofia talked and would talk back with her.

This set also comes with Clover the Rabbit, Robin the Robin and Mia the Bluebird. My daughters loves playing with them separately, but also having Sofia talk with them.  Yep, Sofia can understand and talk with animals, of course!   When my daughter brings each animal close to Sofia's amulet, it glows, and Sofia can recognize and talk to each beloved friend and get unique responses in return!  At just $39.99 this is a great add for my Holiday Gift Guide.

Disney Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle

The Disney Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle is probably the top item on my holiday gift guide for younger ages.  Play sets like these are always really fun and interactive.  It not only teaches them interactive play with the different pieces, but also they can
“magically” hear phrases said in each character's voice

This set had doors that open so you can interact indoors or outdoors with your Sofia doll, as well as a balcony that she can stand on for playing.  My kids loved enjoying each of these areas and I loved listening to them creatively playing.  They get so into the games and always have so much fun.  I love having it based around a tv show that they are familiar with because the episodes always become part of their play.

As pictured above, this set also can extend, allowing for more options for play. This gives the option of an outdoor play level and footbridge to Enchancia where your daughter can take Sofia and Clover on a picnic.

With this set, Sofia can glide down the staircase, enjoy royal dancing and dining in the ballroom, or find Clover hiding in the window seat. There are so many fun and magical elements to this set that your daughter will love. This set comes with furniture, picnic basket, place settings, Sofia doll and Clover figure. You can purchase other characters to add to this set.  I think they would make great stocking stuffers and can really further their play.  When your daughter is done playing, or ready for a nap, she can put Sofia down for a nap in the royal bed as she takes a nap, too.

This set is so much fun for any Sofia the first fans.  They will love interacting with the castle and characters and living the episodes for themselves.  At just $59.99, this interactive Castle is perfect for the holidays.
